What is a Crovia Seal?

A cryptographic receipt issued the moment an AI generates a response. It records who generated the text, when, and a SHA-256 fingerprint of the exact output — signed with Ed25519.

Anyone can verify the seal is authentic and that the text has not been altered since signing — without trusting any server.

How to get a seal
  1. Install Crovia Seal extension for Chrome or Edge
  2. Ask anything to an AI — ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini or Perplexity
  3. Click the 🔏 Seal button next to the AI response
  4. Copy the sealed text — it ends with — sealed: croviatrust.com/v/sl_…
  5. Paste it above and click Verify →
What this verifier checks
  1. Trust root — fetches the public Ed25519 key from seal.croviatrust.com
  2. Seal receipt — retrieves the signed record: issuer, generator, timestamp
  3. Ed25519 signature — verifies the receipt is cryptographically authentic
  4. Output hash — if text is pasted, confirms it matches the sealed SHA-256
